ZKTeco terminals are among the most widely deployed attendance devices in Sri Lankan workplaces — factories, restaurants, offices and multi-branch retail alike. If your business already uses ZKTeco hardware, or you’re buying devices for a new location, Humanised plugs into them as-is: no hardware swap, no manual log downloads, no re-typing punches into a spreadsheet.
Supported ZKTeco devices
Humanised integrates with ZKTeco fingerprint terminals, RFID card readers and facial-recognition terminals out of the box. If you run a ZKTeco model we haven’t connected before, or devices from another brand alongside, you can also upload the device’s attendance log file and Humanised will process it the same way — ask us about your specific models during onboarding.
How the integration works
Your ZKTeco device keeps doing what it does: employees punch in and out by fingerprint, card or face. Humanised picks up those check-in and check-out events and reconciles them against each employee’s shift, overtime rules and leave records — late arrivals, no-pay deductions and approved overtime are calculated automatically. When you run payroll, the month’s attendance is already in the pay run: hours, OT and no-pay flow straight through without manual entry.
Setting it up
- Tell us the ZKTeco models and locations you use during onboarding — the integration is an add-on at LKR 12,000/year per device.
- Our team connects each terminal to your Humanised account and maps employees to their device IDs.
- Punch data starts syncing; you review attendance, overtime and exceptions in the Time & Attendance module.
- Run payroll as usual — approved hours, overtime and no-pay carry into the pay run automatically. Step-by-step help lives in our support guides.

Does Humanised work with ZKTeco fingerprint machines?
Yes. ZKTeco fingerprint, RFID and facial-recognition terminals integrate with Humanised out of the box — punches sync into attendance, are reconciled with shifts, overtime and leave, and flow into payroll automatically.
Do I need extra software to connect my ZKTeco device?
No separate middleware to buy or maintain — our team connects your terminals to your Humanised account during onboarding. The device integration is an optional add-on at LKR 12,000/year per device.
What happens if the device goes offline?
ZKTeco terminals keep recording punches locally, and records sync once the connection is restored. If a device can’t reconnect, you can upload its attendance log file to Humanised manually and the data is processed the same way — no punches are lost.
Can attendance from multiple branches sync to one payroll?
Yes. Terminals across different branches and locations all feed the same Humanised account, so one monthly pay run covers your whole company with each employee’s hours, overtime and no-pay calculated from their own location’s devices.
