Update EPF/ETF for employees

Overview

  • Manage and update settings ensuring accurate EPF/ETF calculation.

The Humanised system automatically calculates EPF/ETF contributions for your employees, ensuring compliance. Plus, it generates all the necessary documents, saving you time and minimizing errors.

Step 1: Update company settings

  • Go to the last section on your left-hand navigation panel, the settings section. Click on “company settings”.
  • Update zone, EPF and ETF numbers of the company under “EPF/ETF Information”.
  • Mark EPF/ETF checkbox under Budgetary relief allowance if you want to calculate EPF/ETF for that as well.

Step 2: Update employment details

  • Go to the contact section on your left-hand navigation panel.
  • Open the employee profile.
  • Open “employment details’ from the left-hand sub sections.
  • Update the name as it is in EPF/ETF documents.
  • Update EPF/ETF numbers of the employee.
  • Save changes.

Step 3: Update pay items

  • Open “pay details”.
  • New Pay Item: Click on “+” icon to add a new pay item, tick the "EPF/ETF" checkbox if the component should calculate.
  • Existing Pay Item: Click "Edit" for the item, then tick the "EPF/ETF" checkbox to include it in calculations.
  • If using a CSV, update "EPF/ETF" row for each pay item. Mark "Yes" for components contributing to EPF/ETF.
