1. Round off in calculations
This setting allows you to determine the level of leniency you want to maintain concerning the start and end times of your organization
-
Round off to nearest – Choose whether you want to round off to the nearest 15 minutes or 30 minutes.
-
Round off – Then choose whether you want to round off to the highest value or the lowest.
Examples:
If you choose to round off to the nearest higher 15 minutes, and the employee clocked in at 9.05 am. It will be rounded off to 9.15am
If you choose to round off to the nearest lower 30 minutes, and the employee clocked in at 9.05am. it will be rounded off to 9.00am
2. Overtime Settings
-
Min overtime amount per day – Keeping in mind that the maximum no.of overtime hours per week as per the shop and office act is 12, you can specify the, maximum number of overtime hours per day. This is going to help you weed out any days where the employee simply forgot to clock out from the overtime amount
3. Penalty No Pay
Switch this toggle on to calculate penalty no pay as per the policy given below
-
If an employee checks in within 10 minutes after start time, no penalty no pay.
-
If an employee checks in after 1 hour after start time, penalty no pay of half day will be applicable (half day calculated by dividing the no.of working hours per day by two)
-
if an employee checks in after 4 hours after start time, penalty no pay of a full day will be applicable (penalty no pay hours = no.of working hours per day)
